The Aquaman of 2012
A California man poises himself to become the real life Aquaman when the poles shift and the earth is covered in water.
Former semi professional long distance swimmer Alfred Ingleberg is a firm believer in theories of an impending cataclysmic event on December 21st, 2012. Of all the possible scenarios he thinks it is most likely that the events of the day will result in the complete submersion of dry land.
To prepare himself Ingleberg has a daily routine in which he attempts to increase his ability to hold his breath underwater as well as his swimming speed. Determined to be a leader when disaster inevitably strikes, he is gradually adjusting his life to be able to survive entirely under water. In addition to his beliefs about 2012 he also shared his passion toward evolution. The idea that humans evolved from ocean creatures crawling up onto land. As he sees it, this could ultimately be a return to where we came from.
About This Blog
It has been professed for many years that on December 21st 2012 the world will meet its ultimate Doomsday. We understand that the thought of a Doomsday doesn’t immediately ring as something to laugh about, however we also believe that one can only mourn the idea for so long.
